What is CardsIQ?

CardsIQ lets you turn graded sports card hits from live breaks into cash instantly—while the break is still happening. We currently partner with HG Breaks on Whatnot and are expanding to additional trusted breakers on platforms like Whatnot, Fanatics, and Drip. Out-of-network cards (not hit in a partner break) will be supported in the future and will require shipping.

How do instant buybacks work during a break?

When you join an HG Breaks stream on Whatnot and hit a graded card, you can accept an instant cash offer on the spot. The card never leaves the breaker’s possession. Once you accept, the payout is queued immediately and moves to your CardsIQ wallet for withdrawal.

Do I need to ship my cards?

No shipping is required for instant buybacks with our current trusted breaking partners. If you submit out-of-network cards in the future (once available), you’ll generate a shipping label and send them to CardsIQ for verification before payout.

What types of cards are eligible right now?

Currently, we accept graded sports cards (PSA, BGS, SGC) that are pulled live in HG Breaks on Whatnot or that are inside Aquabox repacks sold by trusted vendors supplying CardsIQ inventory. Future updates will allow shipping of out-of-network graded sports cards.

How do payouts work?

Payouts are initiated the moment you accept an offer during a break. Funds are available for withdrawal once the breaker confirms the card remains secured. Withdrawal options include ACH, PayPal, and Venmo.

Who pays for shipping?

No shipping costs apply for our current live-break instant buybacks. When we add out-of-network card submissions, sellers will be responsible for shipping those cards to CardsIQ.

Are there any fees?

A small processing fee is factored into every offer. CardsIQ network partners and Aquabox repacks benefit from reduced fees. Fees will remain transparent as we expand to more partners and shipping options.

Can I cancel an offer?

Yes—offers can be canceled anytime during the break until you accept. After acceptance and breaker confirmation, the transaction is locked in and cannot be canceled.

How is pricing determined?

Our pricing engine analyzes real-time market comps, grade, demand, and recent transactions to generate a fair, instant cash offer. We constantly update our model for accuracy and consistency.

Do I have to be part of HG Breaks to use CardsIQ?

Not long-term. Today, instant buybacks are available only through HG Breaks on Whatnot. We are actively onboarding additional breaking partners on Whatnot, Fanatics, Drip, and more, and will later support shipping of out-of-network cards.
